Cancellation Policy

Unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. To be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a service. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid at the time of cancellation or prior to your next scheduled appointment.  Cancellations online are accepted.  Any cancellation via email, telephone message or text must be acknowledged by me in order to be considered accepted.  Otherwise, the missed appointment fee will apply.

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment regardless of the reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.  Habitual cancellations/no-shows can and will forfeit future bookings.  I would invite you to find someone who can accommodate your need for more flexibility.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time. 

 

ILLNESS

I appreciate your consideration in not sharing your germs with me.  However,  is not for me to decide whether or not you should come to your appointment.  If you are newly under the weather, exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms, have a rash, fever or cold sore, please reschedule within the appropriate time frame to avoid being charged.

Children in the Studio

To ensure the safety of children and the enjoyment of all clients, I ask that parents or guardians make other arrangements for their children while they are receiving services. Children must be 14 or older to receive Spa services and must be accompanied by an adult at all times until the age of 16. 

 

FILLERS AND INJECTiBLES

If you have any procedures scheduled such as Botox, Juvaderm, laser and any other medically-related skincare procedures with the dermatologist, nurse injector, med spa or plastic surgeon, you must postpone any treatments with me for a minimum of 14 days.  If you are unsure, please reach out and discuss it with me 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment so we can reschedule accordingly.  Failure to notify me until your appointment time will result in a rescheduling of your service and payment for the missed appointment.  I would hate to disrupt the success of medical procedures.
